About Our Academy

We're a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym based in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Our gym offers a range of classes to both novice and experienced fighters to help build our students skillset and physical endurance.

Train with Walid Soliman

Private Lessons Now Available

Walid is an experienced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor with numerous medals including gold in the IBJJF International Sydney and is a Pampax Champion. He is experienced in a broad range of techniques and concepts and can asist you in developing new Jiu Jitsu strategies.

Walid's attitude towards training is to work with the competitors and develop techniques based around their own strengths rather than following a set curriculum.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Wrestling is a very powerful and effective means of controlling an opponent and taking them to the ground on your terms which makes it highly effective for both MMA fighters as well as Jiu Jitsu students.

Kids Classes

We offer a number of Kids classes in Jiu Jitsu that are designed to suit younger athletes and provide them with specific coaching to suit their age.

Often the techniques we teach are the same as we do in our adult classes which means as kids grow they can continue to modify their skills to suit as they develop.
